Farefinda ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Allfinda Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data we collect

• Search data: When you search for flights, we pass your search parameters (origin, destination, dates, passenger counts) to our data provider (Travelpayouts / Aviasales) to retrieve live results. We do not store your search history.
• Click data: When you click "Book", we record that a click occurred (for affiliate commission tracking). This is anonymous — no personal data is stored.
• Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. No personal identifiers are collected.
• Price alerts (optional): If you sign up for a price alert, we store your email address and the route you're monitoring to send you notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time.

2. What we don't collect

• We do not collect payment information — booking happens on partner sites.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not track you across websites.

3. Cookies

We and our partners use cookies in the following ways:

• Functional cookies (us): We use session cookies to remember your search preferences (e.g. trip type, passenger count). These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
• Affiliate tracking cookies (partners): When you click a "Book" link and visit a partner booking site (airline or OTA), that site may set its own cookies to track your purchase for commission attribution. This is standard practice for all affiliate flight search engines. We disclose this on every redirect page. You can review each partner's cookie policy on their website.
• Analytics cookies: We use anonymous analytics to understand site traffic (page views, search volumes). No personal identifiers are stored.

By using Farefinda and clicking booking links, you acknowledge that partner sites may set affiliate tracking cookies. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the booking experience on partner sites.

4. Third-party services

• Travelpayouts / Aviasales: Our flight data provider. Their privacy policy applies to data shared with their API.
• Cloudflare: Our hosting provider processes request metadata. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. Data retention

We retain price alert emails only as long as your alert is active. You can delete your alert at any time via the unsubscribe link in any notification email.

6. Your rights

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via a notice on our site. Continued use of Farefinda after changes constitutes acceptance.
